Bicycle!

Here we are with our new set up. Madilynn's seat is attached to my bike. Michael's bike is the same as mine except blue. (He wouldn't let me get a picture of him). Madilynn loves her helmet. She wants to wear it even when she's just playing outside. It's so cute!

Madilynn can climb the ladder to the slide all by herself! I can't believe it. She is so strong. She loves to slide again and again.

Showing off her pretty bow in her hair. And here's a good one of Mommy and Madilynn!

Daddy took us to see the pigs on the farm where he is working. Michael's favorite pig is the one with the red spots on its back and eyes right in the middle.

More Pictures!

Here are some more pictures of Madilynn from the weekend!

Here are some of the flowers I have grown
from seed. This afternoon I'll be planting them all in larger pots. They are growing really well.

Michael got these red flowers at a plant sale at school. They are so pretty!

The crabapple tree in our yard has bloomed! I had no idea it would look like this. What a surprise! It is so beautiful, I love it!

Havin' Fun!

Click on the picture below to play the video! We didn't know Daddy was filming we thought he was trying to take a picture. So here's us playing! Enjoy the kisses!

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day Michael and Madilynn took me to the Reimen Gardens (Got free admission and a carnation). Here's Madilynn and me in the Butterfly room. There were butterflies everywhere I don't know if you can see them very well in the pictures or not.

Michael took this picture of a heart-shaped flower for me! Madilynn is reaching for the cyclamen's below they were so pretty. It was all we could do to keep her from touching all the plants.

Tulip Time!

On Saturday we went to the Pella Tulip Time Festival (Dutch Festival). Since tulips are my favorite flower I was so excited to hear that there was a tulip festival nearby. It was pretty cold and windy, but we managed. There were so many beautiful tulips. Since it was a Dutch festival there were lots of pastry's being sold and the most famous is the dutch letter. We tried one, but we weren't very impressed it had a bland flavor. We found a huge playground with swings, slides and a sandbox and Madilynn enjoyed playing there for over an hour.

The Beach!

In March we went to Florida for Spring Break. We were so ready for some warmer temperatures. Being Madilynn's first trip to the beach we were excited to see her reaction... she didn't like the sand! We had a great time anyway! Here are some pictures from our trip. Enjoy!!
