Here's Madilynn in January 2008- 15 months old wearing the jacket, hat & gloves...
Gosh! Was she really that little?
She loves this little pony!
She needs help getting on it, then she has to have the music on, and she starts rocking (just learned how to rock herself last weekend!) when the music stops she grunts and tries to squeeze the ears to start it again.
She loves to play peek-a-boo with us, but now it's a little different. She's the one doing it and she says "Boo" it's so cute!
"boo"
She's mastered the stairs...
Not quite sure exactly how she learned, but we had the gate open one day and were heading downstairs and she got on her belly and started sliding down feet first! Of course crawling up is so much fun too!
The past week here has been colder. With some spitting snow here and there. Madilynn has taken her gloves to school this week (for outside time). Anyways, so I got out this sweater jacket that was Madilynn's at this age and I just love it! I think it looks so cute on her.
I'm going to have to find a picture of Madilynn wearing it and do a little comparison post - too cute!!
Something else Elizabeth just did today (and I don't have a picture of it) is she figured how to open the drawers in the kitchen. She was "helping" me find more kitchen towels - ha!
When they touched noses Elizabeth just giggled it was so cute!!
showing off one of her new pajamas
Daddy got a new Bass Pro cap - Elizabeth had fun trying it on!
Thursday morning I baked another pumpkin...
and made some more spinach artichoke dip - yum yum!! (Madilynn loves it too!)
Saturday morning I added some of that fresh baked pumpkin and a little cinnamon to my normal pancake recipe and we had yummy pumpkin pancakes with maple syrup - so so good! (so good we're probably having it for supper tonight!)
the girls showing off their new sweatshirts!
And after two lightning delays Arkansas came out with a win!! Go Hogs!
holding hands
I finally got in on a picture!
We had a great weekend and spent lots of time at home together. We've taken advantage of our basement family room more this weekend as there is a fireplace (wood stove) down there. We've had a couple of fires already and they've really warmed up the whole house and kept it warmer through the night! The girls have really enjoyed playing down there and we've moved a couple of chairs down there, so it's more comfortable for us!
After church (while baking cornbread to go with our soup) we played outside, it was beautiful fall weather!
Madilynn looked so cute, but she didn't want her picture taken yesterday.
so sweet

My attempt to get a picture with Madilynn
The girls enjoyed the aquarium inside...lots of big trout!
After Cabelas and a snack the girls napped in the car as we headed to downtown SLC to the Children's Museum!
getting milk out of the fridge
Elizabeth played with the baby in the house
sitting in the little chair
ironing...
Elizabeth spent a lot of time doing this with Daddy following her all over the place!
Madilynn finally made a trip to the market to get more things for her kitchen
She even put her stuff up at the register to pretend to check-out
We finally got her over to the farm to sit on the horse
Riding the horse
Elizabeth & Daddy driving the car!
Then Madilynn made it over to the construction site
she even had to put on all the gear, the vest, hat, and she found a hammer and got to work!Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
