And, the reason this is called Sister Love...Madilynn and Elizabeth gave Eva a little special attention Thursday afternoon!

Eva at seven weeks

Eva in her carseat this morning after we got home from Wal-Mart.

So, so sweet and looking bigger in that seat!

This afternoon I put her down for some tummy time and she wasn't too happy about it. In less than a minute she rolled over and I thought it was a fluke, so I rolled her back to her belly. Then she rolled over two more times and I realized I needed to get it on video. So, by the fourth time she's pretty mad, but she did it!

She stayed on her side longer on this video than she did the other times - I think because she was so upset. The other times she just rolled right over.

Girlies

I think I could name every post "girlies", they all seem to be about what these girlies are up to!

Here's Eva in the bath - she loves the bath and just relaxes in the warm water. It's getting dried off and putting lotion on that she doesn't care for.

Saturday morning Daddy had to work for a couple of hours, so we enjoyed just hanging out for a little while in our pajamas...

Okay, so I just realized I've been the photographer a lot lately and I need to get myself in a few pictures!

Tractor Parade

Last Friday they had a tractor parade through campus - with it being Ag month and homecoming weekend, it was perfect time for a parade. Madilynn got to ride a tractor with Daddy last year, so Daddy told Elizabeth she would get to ride the tractor with him. Madilynn was at school during the parade so her whole class took a "field trip" to watch the parade. I took pictures for Michael (on his camera), so Eva sat in the car sleeping and had no idea what was going on!

I took Elizabeth up to Michael's office she was so excited and had been saying, "Ride Tractor" for a few days already. As they walked up to it she started saying, "Don't fall, don't fall" somehow she knew this was the tractor she would be riding and it was so big she didn't want to fall.

Daddy carried her up in it and got her seatbelt buckled and after a few minutes she calmed down.

Here's the beginning of the parade...

and the end...they were the last (and biggest) tractor in the parade.

I was juggling two cameras so that's the best I got of them. When I got back to pick Elizabeth up she told me all about it. She would say, "Ride tractor with Daddy, don't fall, seatbelt" it was so cute. She repeated it over and over. Then when Daddy got home from work she told him, "Ride tractor with you!" I think it made her day!!!

Our Week

Last Wednesday...Eva in the swing. It was the first time I caught her looking at the mobile.

Friday night we decided to try making homemade pizza again (it's been a long time - over a year!) and we did it! It was the best we've made.

Wednesday (today)... Eva is 6 weeks old! Talking with Daddy on his lunch break.

Just to remember what Elizabeth is saying: She's constantly saying, "Eva so tute!" (cute)

Then today I was feeding Eva and Elizabeth was looking at her and said, "Mommy, hands teeny tiny!" I said yes they are teeny tiny. I don't know where she's heard that, but it was so cute to hear her say it.

Big Sister, Little Sister

Have I mentioned how big this girl is getting? Madilynn is almost 5 and acting more grown up every day! This picture was taken this week on her first day of piano lessons.

She's going to a group class one day a week. She loved the first day and was very eager to start practicing the next day. Right now the "practicing" is listening/singing along to songs on a CD they gave us that teach music theory - things like beat, tempo, etc.

Eva is One Month old!

On Saturday the 10th Eva was one month old! Wow!! This month has gone by sooo fast!!! She has grown so much and is somewhere in the 8lb. range now! She's awake and alert more during the day. She wakes just once in the middle of the night for a feeding - yeah! Hopefully by 2 months she'll be sleeping through the night (Mommy & Daddy can't wait to get all our sleep again!). Anytime Daddy is around she just stares at him. I think she likes to see the contrast of his dark hair against his skin. We've gotten a few smiles out of her when she's awake, and I can't wait to see more!

Utah State Fair

Saturday after we dropped Nana off at the airport we headed over to the Utah State Fair!

The main reason for going...Little Hands on the Farm - Madilynn has talked about it constantly lately (she remembered it from the fair last year). This year Elizabeth was able to participate also. So here they are getting their corn to feed the cow...

I have to say it's just not the same as the Iowa State Fair - we would love to go back one year and take the girls they would love it!
