Last week we began some big projects around the house. The main objective PAINT! But, before we get into that just had to share the letters I did for Madilynn and Elizabeth's room. Madilynn helped me pick out some scrapbook paper and I decoupaged them onto the plain white letters from Hobby Lobby.

So, back to the painting...We had planned to paint the baby's room Friday evening. I bought the supplies and prepped the room (during nap time) then Michael came home at about 4 and started painting. It didn't take long and we were done by bedtime with a dinner break! Sorry the picture is out of order, but there is a sneak peak of the nursery!
On to Saturday morning...Michael gets back from his run and eats breakfast (it was a rainy/snowy cold day) and says lets go ahead and pain the living room. Well the two dark green/tan walls took a coat of primer as well, so Saturday we basically just got those two walls completed!
Here we are getting started - see the paint samples on the wall we picked the bottom middle color - Winter Wheat. It's a light yellow, I describe as butter.

Getting the primer on that dark color

So, here's the sneak peak of baby girl #3 nursery! The new wall color is a light blue and I love it!

Sunday morning all ready for church - amid the mess! I snapped this picture before she knew what I was doing!

Madilynn

When I tried to get a picture of the girls together this is the reaction I got! Elizabeth wasn't thrilled!

Sunday afternoon Daddy continued on painting and got the dining area, kitchen, and the other 2 walls of the living room done - I think it was midnight when we finished and cleaned up! We haven't seen that time since Elizabeth was a newborn!

The girls had to check out the ladder.

And I just realized I hadn't taken all the finished pictures yet, so you'll have to wait for another post!
