Back to School and 3 weeks old!

Monday was back to school - preschool that is for Madilynn! Here she is telling me about this headband she got at school...

On Wednesday Eva was 3 weeks old! We went back to the doctor for a weight check and she was 7lbs. 7oz. much above her birth weight - yeah!!

When Madilynn got home from school she wanted to hold Eva as well!

That afternoon I had them all lay down together to compare their sizes!

Elizabeth is TWO!

Elizabeth is TWO today and I just can't believe it! She has grown sooo fast!! This morning while waiting for breakfast the girls did some coloring...

So big! You know...she can do everything her big sister does!

After naptime it was party-time! We got Granny on video chat and Papa on facetime and we were ready to open some presents!

Elizabeth loves Elmo. Everytime we go downstairs she would say, "watch Elmo?" So, Granny got her a new Elmo

she loved it! She started dancing to it!

And...her very own pillow pet from Nana, Papa, & Ashlee!

Daddy Gene & Ladonna sent some ponies, a horse shirt, and a Belle book about a horse, she loves horses!

Mommy & Daddy surprised her with a tricycle!!

Then they started playing with all the new stuff...

After supper it was time for CAKE!! This year I made chocolate cake with white icing. I decided to do the two-layer cake instead of cupcakes for a change.

While we sang happy birthday to her she smiled so big!

Daddy had to help her reach to blow out the candles!

Out for Dinner!

Saturday afternoon we ventured down to SLC just to have dinner at P.F. Changs!! You can call us crazy, but it is such good food we have to make the drive sometimes. And...our other excuse was Nana is with us and they have a great gluten free menu. We always make reservations, so that by the time we do get there we don't have to wait and it works out really well.

Eva is Two Weeks old!

We gave Eva her first bath in the little tub last night. I think she liked it more, it definitely kept her warmer since she was sitting in the water.

Eva at two weeks old - just before heading out to her doctor's appointment...

She weighed 6lbs. 13oz. - she has gained 50z. since we checked her last Friday. We have to go back next week just to check her weight again and make sure she gets up past her birth weight by then. Other than that she's doing great! Starting to be alert and awake more.

Fun Weekend!

Saturday morning we all got ready and went to what we call "the bread place" and had yummy pumpkin chocolate chip bread and scones for breakfast. Then we walked to the gardener's market to see what veggies they had. The girls were able to play on the playground for a little while too, and before we knew it it was time for lunch...so we enjoyed some Sonic before heading home.

Saturday evening Daddy put this "tent" up in the backyard for the girls to play in.
They had a big time, and got so hot their hair was wet. So we had them stay out for awhile and they started playing with Daddy in the grass. Next thing we knew...the sprinklers came on and we all screamed and ran as fast as we could. Good thing we did this right before bath time!
