Arkansas week 2

Friday the 18th we attended my cousin Zack's high school graduation with dinner afterwards with everyone!

Daddy Gene & Ladonna were in town for the graduation, so we visited with them more on Saturday.  They brought a few surprises for the girls...

Thursday morning we met Grandpa Larry and Grandma Pam at the park.

We had such a great visit and stayed plenty busy while we were there.  So glad we were able to see everyone that we did!

I took the camera in my backpack on the way back so I could get this picture.

They basically sit like this the entire time, never even having to get up to go potty.

Me & Eva on the other hand...I was working hard to keep her entertained and quiet.  Again, I got her to take a nap for about 45min. of the flight.  All went well.

All was really well when we saw Daddy on the other side of the security door waiting on us!  He even had balloons for each of the girls!!  We missed Daddy so much!

Arkansas week 1

Us girls got to spend a couple of weeks in Arkansas while Daddy did some traveling for work.  We flew... and it was my first time with all the girls by myself!  So thankful there is a direct flight only about 2.5 hrs. long!!  We arrived in time for dinner the Friday evening before Mother's Day.

Even though it's only an hour difference it still took a couple of days for the girls to adjust to the different time. 

Saturday we enjoyed a little TCBY with Nana!

Since Eva is now enjoying yogurt...I let her have a little taste of frozen yogurt...she thought it was pretty cold!

Saturday night my Aunt and Cousin and her son came over for dinner and to visit!

Sunday - Mother's Day

We made lunch and everyone came over to celebrate!

We went to the library storytime, found some books and videos, then had lunch on the square!

As if that wasn't enough for one morning we took the big girls on to the park to run off some of their energies before nap time!

Monday night we went out to eat with everyone to celebrate Mama's birthday!!

We really enjoyed getting to be in town for a family birthday party!

So sweet, I think they were waiting for their turn in the bath!

Wednesday afternoon we left and traveled across the state to see Grandma on Thursday morning.

NINE Months!

Miss Eva Claire is 9 months old already! 

We had her Dr. appt. yesterday and she weighs 19lb. 10oz. (60th%) and is 28.5 inches long (80th%)!! Just a growing girl!!

She says all kinds of sounds like ma-ma-ma, da-da, baba, along with some squeels too!  She's quite the talker already with lots to say.  She'll say ma-ma and repeat me, but I don't think she knows to call me that just yet!

So sweet and loves to clap for us when we say, "yea Eva"!

Getting ready for her first flight tomorrow!  Mommy and the girls are headed to Arkansas to spend a couple of weeks!

A little bit of everything...

A couple of weeks ago....we got the Kindergarten homeschool curriculum that I had ordered.  We got it to go ahead and start with her now, she's so ready to learn! And, as of now, the plan is to homeschool her for Kindergarten.

She's so excited to see all of this fun stuff!

 We had to go ahead and get out the puzzle of the U.S. and Canada...

 all done a great 45 minutes spent!  I'm just glad there's something that will hold their attention for that long!

 We have lots of tulips in the front yard that were already there when we bought the house.  I just love them all!

 The girls all "playing" blocks together.  I told Michael this is okay for now, but as soon as Eva can really travel and get their blocks it will all change! Ha!

 Last Saturday morning after our breakfast at "the bread place" we walked next door to the seed store and found some beautiful flowers for our yard! (Little did I realize that even though he helped pick them out, I would be the one planting the bulk of them - all's good though!)

 So, that's just what I did the rest of our Saturday.  Got some geraniums and daisies planted in this strip of dirt on the side of our house (before lunch).

 Then after lunch while the girls were napping Madilynn kept me company while re-doing this flower bed.  Our daffodils and tulips were done so I just cut them down and planted new flowers for the summer!

 We've also been a little pre-occupied with a project we've got going on in the backyard.  Here's a sneak peek...You see, there was no way out that beautiful door off our dining area...
