Nana playing with the girls
So sweet...
SKIING!!!
Michael wanted to take me skiing on Monday afternoon. The mountains just got 16in. of snow over the weekend and the weather was perfect! We ended up going after lunch (he worked half-day)! They were having the last night ski of the season with cheaper prices and included ski instruction (Since I'd never been skiing before!!)
We had a great time! I was able to get pretty much one on one instruction for 1.5 hours and I was doing pretty good! It was definately a workout!! But so fun.
All ready and waiting for Mommy to get ready
Daddy and Madilynn trying out the little hill in the backyard...it worked and so much fun!
Mommy and Elizabeth had to try...
Then we decided it was time to try out the big hills at the park, so we loaded up and headed to the park just a couple of minutes away. Madilynn had a blast and even went down a few times by herself! She also enjoyed playing on the park jungle gym, it's been a while since she'd gotten to play at the park and she was all bundled so why not!!
See the ducks...the other homes lining the river
Madilynn throwing rocks into the river...she almost got me here!
Beautiful view...Can you see the mountains through the trees?
Daddy trying to get Madilynn to throw snowballs - that's the back of the house
Daddy trying to talk Madilynn into throwing that snowball at me...she threw it at him instead!
We had a great time playing around, can't believe it was our first time back there!! There will be many more times I'm sure!! Next we're going to try sledding - hopefully tomorrow! And we are so excited Nana is coming tomorrow night! (Hopefully no delays in Tulsa with all the snow/ice they are getting now!)
I took these pictures last night because I just thought she was too cute in her little sweatshirt!! The sweatshirt is 9M and the pants are 12M! But, I think these are cut a little small since she is wearing mostly 6 mo. in everything else!
We picked up Daddy for lunch today and went to Sonic (yeah!!). Madilynn decided to let Elizabeth try one of her french fries!! By the time I realized what was going on and saw it, it was pretty soggy she probably got a little taste. haha I guess it was bound to happen! We explained to Madilynn that Elizabeth couldn't eat that yet, we don't want her to get sick, and to please ask first!!Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.
