Nana & Papa visit too...

Papa flew in Tuesday morning May 23rd. He was able to go with us to pick up Madilynn from preschool. After we got home Madilynn told him they played with a parachute at school, so Papa decided to make one for her. (Sorry I couldn't see what I was taking a picture of due to the lighting outside, but you can see Madilynn & the parachute in the bottom of the picture.)

Wednesday we walked the river trail in Logan Canyon. It was beautiful and even a little chilly in the shade.

Then we went to the park to play... This was Elizabeth's first real time to play at the park she's finally old enough and it's the right season!

On Thursday after lunch we went to the fun park. It's an indoor soft play/climbing/slides area. I think Nana, Papa, & Ashlee had a good time too, they all participated!! Papa & Ashlee even went down the big slide!

Here's Madilynn

We hadn't been there since Madilynn's birthday last year and she was so excited to go back!

Elizabeth climbed all the way to the top. She liked these bubble windows, but she wouldn't go down the slide - not even with somebody. She had lots of fun though. She led Papa into running laps around the entire thing and climbing through it!

Madilynn again! She could get through the climbing and get back down the slide so quick.

Afterwards they each played one game. Elizabeth liked the ducks. She said, "duck, duck" and jumped up and down as she pushed the button. That was the first time.

Then when she figured out tickets would come out she was more interested in getting those so she left the button to Papa.

Madilynn wanted to drive the car. She picked a pink one of course! Ashlee sat with her and she did pretty well. Elizabeth even got to watch.

When the weather was nice we played outside. For some reason Elizabeth decided she would pose by the tree and gave me a little photo shoot!

We took a few walks around the neighborhood after dinner. We enjoyed seeing everyone's flowers. One afternoon Ashlee braided Madilynn's hair! She looks so big! How can she be so big already!

Then one morning we had a nail painting party! Elizabeth got her toenails done for the first time! She's waiting on them to dry...

We had a great visit! And, enjoyed some yummy food too! One night we all went out for ice cream after supper, it was so fun!

Ashlee's Visit!

Well, I don't know where to start...I'm obviously waaayyy behind. I guess I'll just go through the pictures. Ashlee arrived Monday night (May 16th). Daddy had left early that morning for an out of town conference.

This was Sunday afternoon...

We had lots of rainy cool days while she was here, so we did some crafts, of course! I found an old shoebox and got out lots of supplies and just let Madilynn use her imagination in what she wanted to make.

One morning the girls played babies so good, I thought it was so cute, so I had to get the camera while they weren't paying attention.

First week of Summer?!?!

Well, technically not really until mid-June, but its felt like it to us! The Spring semester at USU is over (graduation was last weekend). Madilynn's school is over for spring also and they started the summer session this week. So now she is going to preschool Tuesday/Thursday mornings.

So, Monday morning after running some errands I gave Madilynn a little surprise, something she'd been wanting...

She did a great job painting. She's so serious when she's painting, AND this is the stillest she gets while awake I think! Now she wants Daddy to hang it outside.

It's been warm and sunny this week too, so we've enjoyed lots of playtime outside and the girls have loved it! They've rode bikes, cars, played in rocks, t-ball and play on the swingset.

Elizabeth can even hit the ball off the tee with the bat!

Elizabeth really loves balls right now! She's sure to point them out to me everytime we're in Wal-Mart!

It's a beautiful day again today! We just enjoyed a picnic lunch in the backyard today after church. (For the first time in our new house) The girls loved it! We'll have to have picnic lunches more often! Can't wait for our visitors to get here! Ashlee is coming tomorrow and Nana & Papa will be here next week - we are sooo excited!!

Mother's Day Weekend!

Well, Elizabeth has been sick this weekend, started Friday night at bedtime and through the night. Then Saturday morning I thought she was all better, so the girls and I got out and did some shopping while Daddy attended graduation for most of the day. We got Madilynn some summer clothes and me a couple of maternity things. We even had lunch together just us girls at Chick-fil-A. The girls ate and then played hard. When we got home they took naps, then Elizabeth threw up again (on me & her). So she wasn't all better like I thought, so we decided we'd have a home day on Sunday (which actually sounded really nice!)

Saturday evening we enjoyed a little time outside, while Daddy got some yard work done. Madilynn rode her bike around the driveway for a while and then did a little t-ball in the backyard! Elizabeth had her water and thought she needed to carry around her towel in case she got sick again. (Thankfully, she hasn't been sick again - hopefully she IS all better now!)

Our tulips finally bloomed, well the ones we have left! The deer ate lots of the tulips before they bloomed.

This morning us girls were reading a book before we went to eat brunch.

I got a picture with Madilynn when we got back home from breakfast, while Elizabeth was getting an extra nap. We went to a Mother's Day brunch and it was sooo good! I got this rose there. Also, I'm wearing a necklace that Madilynn made for me at school on Friday. I thought that was so sweet and it's so cute!!

We got some things hung around the house while Elizabeth napped. Then when she got up we got some stuff hung in the girls' room! Madilynn put on a dress-up dress and for the first time Elizabeth wanted a dress on too! She brought me this dress to help her put it on. It was a little long. She could hardly walk around.

It's been a great day! So fun to get some stuff hung up on the walls! I'm so thankful for my little family today - such a blessing!!
