Sisters...

The first several days we were home from the hospital Madilynn & Elizabeth would ask to hold Eva at least once a day. They love her so much. They keep saying, "she is so cute!" and they love to kiss her on the head. Every night at bedtime they remember to give Eva a kiss and a hug too! So sweet!

Mommy's Birthday!

My birthday was Saturday (the 13th), the day after we got home from the hospital. We began the day with Daddy making us some yummy french toast with strawberries! The rest of the day we just hung out around the house, then went out to dinner.

Michael picked out cupcakes for my birthday, so we had a little cupcake tasting for dessert. We cut each cupcake into 6 pieces and passed them around for everyone to try some, it was lots of fun!

Papa & Ashlee left Saturday night to head back to AR.

We're Going Home!

They pretty much let us decide when we felt like going home. So we decided to head home on Friday around lunch time. It was pretty no fuss at this hospital and it all went very smoothly. Here we are getting Eva in her "going home" dress!

So pretty - she didn't fuss about it as much as the other girls did when they were babies.

We spent the afternoon resting and a couple of friends came by to visit and meet Eva. Then we all took naps.

Welcome, Eva Claire!

Wednesday morning we arrived at the hospital at 5:30am.

Here's the last belly shot at 39 weeks and 1 day!

We got to visit with the girls for a couple of minutes before they took us back.
Just before Daddy put on his scrubs...

Eva Claire arrived at 7:51am weighing 7lbs. 2.5oz. and 19inches long!

She stayed in the O.R. while getting all cleaned up and weighed so I got to watch everything. It was great! Then Michael brought her over for a quick picture before they moved me into recovery.

We got to keep Eva with us while in recovery and the girls got to come into recovery and meet her for the first time! Once we got to our room the girls got to hold her for the first time!

Daddy got to go to the nursery and help with her first bath! He washed her hair. When she got to our room she had this little bow in her hair.

We are so thankful that everything went so well all day! She is just precious and we are all enjoying getting to know Eva!
