Oh, Tooth!

Monday morning the girls were playing fort with Daddy. They had a flashlight and he looked in their mouths. The next thing I know Michael comes into the laundry room and says, "You've got to see this!" and I'm thinking, "What". So he has Madilynn come in and show me her mouth. This is what I saw!

That permanent tooth had come in behind her baby teeth and we didn't even know it was there! (She's been brushing her teeth by herself lately.) Anyways, the tooth in front of it was loose, so we talked her into letting Daddy pull it! Actually, a couple of dollars, a york peppermint, and a trip to the Fun Park talked her into it! (We don't do the tooth fairy) What a moment for Daddy he was so excited to pull the first tooth. All it took was some yarn. Then a long count to 10 (at Madilynn's request), I was thinking just do it!!
Just afterwards...she was a little upset because it was bleeding (we forgot to mention that part).

So excited! Notice the dollars are still in hand...

We loaded up and headed to the fun park! We had a great time despite the crowd. (Monday was President's day holiday here, so Daddy was with us)
