Eva is SEVEN months old!

Eva Claire is SEVEN months old already!

It has gone by so, so fast!
Here are some things that mark her 7th month:
Lately she’s gotten pretty picky about her food and gags or does a fake cough when I feed her peas or green beans. We tried carrots for the first time this week and she just made an awful face and gagged. Poor thing, but Mommy isn’t giving up we still have to try the carrots a few more times at least!
Other than the solid food thing, she still has 4 bottles a day. She takes naps well too…one morning, one afternoon, and a short one in the evening normally from 5-6 (that’s when I cook supper and we eat, works out pretty well).

She’s sitting up and playing well. She loves her toys. Still loving the box and taking the toys out. I think I caught her putting toys in the box the other day as well. She’s learning already!
When she’s on her belly she scoots all over…off the blanket and around in circles, but not across the room just yet. I think I’m going to have to put her on her belly more often. But, I’m always afraid to right after she’s eaten. I normally try to wait 30-45 minutes.

She’ll be taking her first trip to AR this month. Wow! That’s kind of weird to think about…

I’ve really noticed her personality coming out a lot more lately. The other night some friends were over and I think she was showing out for them. It was like a fake cough and squeals and facial expressions – so funny! She’s sure to let me know if she likes or doesn’t like a certain food. She loves watching her sisters play. She’ll just stare at Elizabeth sometimes and then just smile so big.

Just this week while she was having her lunch (carrots and rice cereal) she starting making the clicking sound with her tongue, so I got it on video! Enjoy!
