Eva, I really can't believe you're eleven months old already!! It's gone by so, so fast! When I told Madilynn today that you were eleven months she said, "wow, she's really close to ONE"!!
So here's what Eva's been up to lately:
She's got some top teeth finally!! It seems that four on top have been swollen for about 2 months now and finally the middle left broke through on July 4th! Then the one to the left of it on July 10th! Hopefully the other two will be through soon too!
She says "bye-bye" and waves (so cute)! She also says, mama, dada and makes lots of other sounds! I've noticed when I tell her "no" about something she starts shaking her head no back.
She's a good eater still, but trying to get her to drink out of a sippy cup or cup in general has been challenging! We are finally making some progress and she is drinking her formula from a cup at breakfast and lunch now, and we are down to 2 bottles a day.
She is still quite the Mommy's girl and it's so funny to me. I'm used to when Daddy's home he gets all the attention, but that's not always the case with her. I was holding her the other day and Daddy was home for lunch talking to her and she just laid her head on my shoulder. The other two would've been jumping in his arms...
She loves water and loves the bath and is so ready to have that cast off for good! Just 2 more weeks! Since we can take the cast off for a little while each day we thought it would be fun to take her to the pool for her first swim! Ready to get in the pool...
She loved it! We spent a little over an hour playing in the water!
The sun was really bright!
