Daddy and his girls...
We love you Daddy and miss you already! Hope you have a great Father's Day (times two)! These girls are so blessed to have you in their lives! I love seeing them light up when you walk into the room! At this stage with Elizabeth if Daddy walks by her and doesn't pick her up she starts crying for him...and I have to say it's so cute!!
Well, our weekend was Friday & Saturday, since Daddy had to leave this morning to go to a conference. We spent a lot of time together and kept busy...we had a lot of fun too! We went to Summerfest on Friday evening and then again on Saturday for lunch. Then Saturday evening we had friends over for pizza and then went to the 4-H benefit rodeo. So, Friday after nap I heard Madilynn in Elizabeth's room and went to get Elizabeth up and Madilynn was on top of the changing table, getting into the crib! First time she's done this, so I had to get a picture! Elizabeth was just laughing at her.
Summerfest is an Arts Festival here in Logan. It was just a few blocks from our house, so we ended up walking there both days. It was beautiful weather! We sat on our picnic blanket and ate dinner Friday night. Madilynn had a great time she played a little red light/green light with Daddy, then she couldn't help herself from dancing to the live music. The song "brown-eyed girl" was playing and she just started dancing...it was so cute!Madilynn enjoying her pizza on the picnic blanket!
Elizabeth trying to get everything!!
Elizabeth and Daddy after we enjoyed some yummy raspberry italian ice!
Saturday we headed out about 11 am and walked through our local gardener's market, then onto Summerfest again. Daddy & Madilynn
We looked around a little more, then enjoyed lunch and a treat...a snow cone for Madilynn, and italian ice again for us! It was sooo good!
