Sunday morning we woke up to some snow! I thought this view of the mountains peaking through the clouds was beautiful. This was taken from our living room.
By Monday afternoon it was all melted and had warmed up quite a bit. We got out and spent some time enjoying the yard. The girls running...
Elizabeth found lots of rocks
Madilynn, so beautiful!
just a swingin'
Elizabeth even had to check out the front yard and the front door
Watching Daddy dig some dirt out of a window well. Madilynn found lots of worms, she thought it was so cool!
Then she helped Daddy plant some pansies in the backyard.
I looked over and this is what Elizabeth was doing while they were planting. She's getting more rocks!
We spent lots of time on the slide. Elizabeth learned how to climb the ladder all by herself!
progress...after we finished the flowers we headed to Chick-fil-A for dinner. Such a fun evening!!
Elizabeth has been loving these sunglasses this week. She carries them everywhere and wears them most of the time in the car. We made chocolate chip cookies for the first time in our new house last night. They were so good as always! We shared with our small group.
Playing in the kitchen this morning before we picked up Daddy for lunch.
Ready for the weekend...even though things aren't really slowing down yet! It's supposed to be rainy most of the weekend. Still ready for a little down time! The semester is almost over - Michael has started telling me daily - only 2 weeks of classes left then it's May and finals. Crazy!! But, we're soooo ready for some summer! And we've got to get some good weather for a few days so we can get our garden started.
