Eva is 8 months old!

As of Tuesday, April 10th Eva is 8 months old!

Wow! Where has the time gone...

When I went in to get her out of bed on Tuesday morning it was the first time I'd seen this:

She had rolled onto her belly in her bed, and maybe even slept that way some.
She has been rolling over lots lately and still scooting all around on her belly in backwards circles (if that makes since, in other words, no forward motion yet!) I've tried to give her more tummy time lately, so she can work on her crawling skills, but we're not there yet.
I think she may have the smallest feet yet...I went in a store today and tried a couple of pairs on her for fun and the size 3 was kinda too big, and there's no way I'm getting a 2 at this point~crazy!

She loves when the girls play with her and show her attention. She smiles so big and cackles. Yesterday Madilynn played peek-a-boo with her using a kitchen towel and she just laughed each time- so sweet!

She still eating so well! Sometimes we are adding the third solid meal of the day, but she is good with just 2. She still takes 4 7oz. bottles a day. She likes to play with my hair (pull it) or grab at my face (ow!) while drinking her bottle. If she's awake while we're eating dinner I usually put her in her chair at the table with us. She's not too happy if we leave her in the floor to play while we're eating!

She laughs with us more now and loves it when Daddy throws her up in the air. She just laughs and smiles so big!

Her hair seems to be growing in pretty fast lately!

She's napping well during the day still and staying awake longer in the evening (about 4hrs) sometimes even skipping the third nap altogether.

She loves to swing in the backyard!

Occasionally, she leans in and gives me or Daddy kisses (open-mouthed) of course!

She is a joy!

Here she is after her bath last night!

We love you, Miss Eva Claire!

As a side note: I call her Miss Eva all the time (i guess) and Madilynn asked me the other day if I was going to call her that when she got bigger and I said probably not...
