Madilynn phrases

I just thought I needed to get these down before I forget. Madilynn is so funny...the things she is saying these days. I think to myself I won't forget that one and then by later in the day I can't remember what it was.

A couple of weeks ago her new saying was "not yet" I still hear it every now and then, but not as often anymore. We had tried to start her with potty training. And I would ask her, " Do you need to go potty?" and she would reply, "Not Yet!"

Lately her saying is "Right Now". Michael and I discussed this morning that we don't think she really understands what it means, but it's so funny how she adds it to the end of everything she says. This morning I told her she was going to go play over at a friends house today. She was so excited then took off running down the hall to her bedroom, then she turned around and said, "I get clothes, right now!" while she pointed her finger at me. I just couldn't help but laugh, she is so silly. I explained that we weren't going right away, but she still went ahead and picked out some clothes to wear.

She is also very interested in the weather outside, she always notices when it's getting dark or dark and lets us know. She also points out if its raining, snowing, or sunny. It rained on us several times at the beginning of Spring Break and she would start singing the song, "It's raining, it's pouring" so funny to hear her sing that whole song just kind of picking out the words she does know. Yesterday morning it was raining here and we got out for bible study. It wasn't raining when we went, but by the time we were leaving it was pouring and it was the one time she was wearing a jacket without a hood. I picked her up and carried her to the car while she burried her head into my neck. When we got to the car and I put her in her seat she had such a distressed look on her face and couldn't believe that she had gotten wet. When we got home she was still talking about the rain. I then explained that rain was a good thing and it helped plants to grow. Like the trees and the flowers. And then she was excited and said yeah!! Then she didn't talk about it raining anymore...
